the winter solstice was last night - the shortest day, longest night and the beginning/end of winter! from here on out each day will thankfully get a bit longer until spring...

whilst searching for a lace paper for a client i've run across this wonderful paper lace ribbon by brookerpie. i absolutely love it and hope to use it in my next project! be sure to check out what others have done with it in her shop announcement... since seeing all the great stuff my friend kim of chezsurcechez makes in embroidery hoops i've been thinking how great they are for any kind of compact craft project you can think of... this idea for example...

i'm digging these custom letters by lookajewelry. she's totally tapping into some of my favorite things : typography, rabbits and envelopes!

house hunting is making me kooky! but it has also sparked this new series of house doodles. check them out along with some other new stuff at my etsy shop...

how crazy is this!? this guy purchased a print from me and then tattooed it on his arm! so unbelievably bizarre but flattering and funny all at once... {check it out here}(my sister-in-law had him as a server and snapped this crazy shot! thanks nina!)
