whew, just in tme for baby we have finally completed our sunroom project!
i'm so happy with how it all turned out and can't wait to hang in there this winter with our little one, warm toes, and a beautiful view of our yard...

happy mid-week friends!
since i'm about to close up shop on all things custom
i just wanted to show that last two pieces i've created before taking my leave...
this piece was a such a joy to make –
a return customer told me how she had just been proposed to with these words from dr. seuss and how she'd love to have them made into a piece of art as a gift to her fiance...
i love it so much i plan to make it available in my shop for all to enjoy!
and this second piece is a simple and modern ketubah –
i always love the sentiment and traditional wording/signing that goes along with a ketubah.
i think i'll make this one available to the public, too! hooray!
i sure will miss making custom pieces for a while
but in the meantime i'll be sure to be working diligently on my own little custom piece here at home...

what a week – it's been one of those that makes me feel like i just can't seem to keep up!

hello friends!
hope all of you are doing well on this lovely warm and rainy day.
something about this weather makes me feel super content and calm –
currently i'm really enjoying working in the low light and mild temperature.
no air-conditioning, no fan, no heat. just stillness. ahhhh it's so very nice.
so, here's a little more update from around my parts.
our little bloom project had a great spot at the fall fest and the weather was amazing!
even though i was thoroughly beat from just sitting around (see my big-bellied self below) i really had a great time talking to people and making some great connections.
furthermore i got to see my latest logo work in action
and fell in love all over again!

here's the scoop: i created phoebe's pure food logo a couple months ago
and have been waiting until now to show it off. hope you like it!
phoebe's love of blueberries and purist of intentions with her foods hopefully shows through in this happy blueberry bush design i created for her. the white "dove" in the bush is there to symbolize the purity of the food and is frankly... just too stinkin' cute to go without.
i love to make a logo that can be just as beautiful when used vertically

and you can't forget about it looking good in black and white...
here's the logo used as a stamp for her product bags she had at the fest–
so pretty, right!? mmm i wish i was drinking that tea right now!

last but not least – my husband and i got to give back
to a very special lady in my heart...
alex milspaw started helping me a while back after i talked with her about a book i was reading focused on mind, body and infertility. alex knew all about what i was going through and even how to help via her wonderful relaxation recordings. after listening to them and having a recording created just for me i was hooked and forever thankful. so, when she decided to create a professional recording, keegan and i helped any way that we could!
keegan did all the studio recordings and i made a simple design for the sleeve...

we are finally back from our fantastic beach vacation!

whew i'm a bit behind on the updates –
here's some from the last couple weeks on project: sunroom...
it's really coming together!
we've got a roof and passed the electrical inspection.
will stone and his buddies are so awesome to have working here.
they have happy attitudes and the work is clean, well done and professional.
plus they are generous giving love to kritter as she supervises...
the can lights went up in the overhang the other night
and it really gave us a thrill to see what this may all be like when finished.
um. can you say deck party!?
meanwhile, kritter took a beginners agility class at
awesome dawgs and got a little certificate.
i'm so proud. she's pretty chill about it.
plus i filled my second nation wide fab order and sent it along –
thanks so much to my new customers. hope you love your purchases!
