check out this crazy thing! i've been working on a decal for my friend's fishing boat which is kind of out-of-the-ordinary for me, but it actually is turning out to be tons of fun! he wanted a striper bass fighting a giant squid... and that's what he got. it was definitely a change from the usual fuzzy bunnies and cupcake stuff.
i just received my new wooden postcards! my illustrations printed on maple veneer are now for sale at my etsy shop...
the art of matt klingelhoefer is my new favorite thing. i bought one of his paintings this weekend at the goggleworks arts market and it's freakin' radical! (i'll post a photo when i decide where to hang it) the one above is entitled donkey kong which also reminded me of my new favorite documentary king of kong : a fistful of quarters... it's amazing.
i'm loving the world of cross-stitch! my friend kimberly of chezsucrechez makes the unbelievable pieces at the top (click the image for a better view) and i just had to include the cross-stitch obama pin by gallardoworks because it was so fantastic!
