artstar was great! even though the wind made us a little stressed at first... and my set-up wasn't what i had imagined because of it – i had a good time nonetheless. so thankful for my ztown girls! i don't think it would be something i would've done on my own and their company really made it bearable. super thanks to tent-mate kimberly scola of chez-sucre-chez who always has a calming tendency – even when she says she's freaking out. +extra thanks to her man for providing the bahama beach chair which made sitting feel like napping. and super thanks to karen stanford of skylark studio who also remains calm even when i run yellow lights and we get lost. i'll take trips with you anytime! craft show lessons learned: drinks and candy are the name of the game and always have a buddy to remind you not to be so serious. i love you guys! xoxoxoxox

my just a reminder print is really getting some love lately!
two recent "front pages" and tons of new fans from art star means i'll have to really make this one part of the solid collection. big thanks to my hubs who wanted it tattooed on his body and let me just make him a print instead...

just a little window love –

since succulents are my favorite!

and i have such deep windows...

i thought it'd be nice,

to fill them up with some plant love!

plus things from around the house like an abandoned wasp nest,
driftwood from my parents honeymoon,
and little horns from my brother's early hunting days...
{awww that poor little deer-face. i'll cherish his horns so he lives on in my heart and home.}
happy thursday everybody! xoxoxoxoxox
so depressing... all of our ladies survived the winter only to all be eaten by the fox in the spring.
waaaahhhh such a terrible day. yes, that's right – all of them gone within 2 days!
well, time to regroup and recoup. booo looks like no more free range for the new batch –

RIP ladies!

(i really wish there was some cheesy dramatic sob music playing right now)

you will always be remembered fondly! kitsune misses you, too...

now that's what i'm talking about!
i've been trying to think of what i'd like to do when trying either screen-printing or embroidery and this exemplifies it all –
graphic. old. awesomeness.

oooooooooooooo how i LOVE these! i want to draw pictures of these guys and hear their voices! xoxoxoxoxox check them out at sweet bestiary.

oh my goodness! i LOVE amanda sharp!!
if all the these gorgeous photos aren't enough to make you love her - the wonderful personality behind the lens will! amanda and i met up to work out some new branding ideas and i just can't say enough great things about her. she's so friendly and personable, funny, and encouraging! and besides all that – look a her colors and styling – dang! i need to pop some babies out right now so she can take pictures!!! go to her website and check her out right now –
thanks again amanda - you're the best! xoxoxoxoxo
happy free-stuff friday!! what do you say? another happy giveaway!? YES, indeed!
helena of diary of a lovely asked me to be in her giveaway and interview and i just couldn't say no – i LOVE this blog, her taste and especially her attitude and positive energy. nothing makes me happier than to connect with people like her and pass on the fun and excitement that goes along with the world of modern blogging –
xoxoxoxoxox to all my support - i couldn't do it without you!
ooooo i LOVE this room! so simple and serene...
found this at the ardent sparrow in her robin's egg blue inspiration (so beautiful!)
now i can't stop daydreaming about turning my attic into something like this someday!
amma from beyondbeyond just left me a note saying she posted about my increasingly popular witness banners! check all the other awesomeness on this blog – so many beautiful wedding ideas i wish i was getting married all over again!
ahhhhhhh what a day... here's a new spring inspired print up in the shop!
hooray! our 4 chickens made it through the winter – and laid eggs the whole time! so, our first year as chicken farmers has worked out pretty well... i highly recommend it to anyone who can do it! every morning they run up to me with almost the same enthusiasm as my dog and are especially fun to watch hunt for worms where ever we do yard work... i don't think anything's as happy as a spring chicken!
happy easter time!

can't wait to try pysanky for myself...

{the awesome design above is done on an ostrich egg!}
