happy to pass along – 2 new shops will be carrying my prints!

first, the very awesome and exciting young blood gallery and boutique of atlanta, georgia!

and second, the super cute and lovely domestica of des moines, iowa!

if you have a minute – please check these guys out! i'm so in love with both shops at the moment + the people behind them – and, if you're in the area please hop on in and find my work along with so many other incredable artists! seriously, the amount of talent in these 2 shops is ridiculous!
quite possibly the best stuff to be found on earth.
happy wednesday!!! xoxoxoxoxox

happy friday all! this fresh new friday brings us 2 new items up in the shop!

first, a big, bright print perfect for the summer kitchen– bless this: now only $20!

and second, love letters: only $20 as well – with your own custom color choice!

{for this last one i got inspired by the house down the road with their big german/pa dutch letter displayed outside their front door. however, this print is meant to be framed inside by the front door or even above the bed. (like i did here at home) but i could see hanging on the front door – oooo, i may try that and post the results!}

oh yeah, and i finished another wedding poster! check out a sneak peak –

happy weekend! xoxoxoxo

wow, there are some really wonderful finds there by christine and jessica lynch's home is a-ma-zing!!!
check it out and prepare to drool all over yourself! sheesh!

this past saturday, just down the road in bowers i found an engine/tractor fair and was so intrigued! well, was i glad i stopped by – it just reinforced my love for the decoration and design you can find with old dutchy items - even pumps, tractors, engines and tools...

here are some of my favorites from the day –

old belt engine - love that hand painted keller logo

even the tractor seats are beautiful!

this guy had an incredible collection under this glass case!

some of our favs –

button mold

"staple-less" stapler... see how it punched and tucked the paper!? fantastic!

but our crazy favorite was this...

a photographer's birdie!
it's hard to tell from this video but this little brass bird moves it's wings and beak when you blow the tube. it also has water in it to create the warbling sounds. so neat.

on down the line we found these – i guess lots o corn = lots o huskers!

then around the corner came this incredible steam engine!
check out the video to see it in motion...

take note: in the background you can hear the caller for the "tractor square dance".
yep, couples on tractors square dancing whilst riding them. talk about country bumpkin!

ok well, i think i'll tie this up nicely with my all time favorite tractor...

a good old allis chambers!
happy monday, everyone –
xoxoxoxoxox

wow, another illustrated poster invite – complete! i'm so in love with this one...
betty and chris are getting married aboard the columbia MV on cayuga lake. so, with hops and black eyed susies as their inspiration along with the obvious awesomeness of the boat – i had the best time making this and can't wait for them to hear the response from excited guests!

here's a little look into the linder homestead recently...
all my hard work and traveling really makes me appreciate my home lately!

kritter waiting for the excitement of stocking the pond with some trout...

the neighbor boy caught these trout down the road and had been keeping them in a weir from the run-off of the pond. we took bucket loads and tried our best to gently transport them –

oooo what a beautiful rainbow trout!

keegan choosing the best spots to drop them in...

here's hoping some will live long enough to spawn!

oh, and here's my new favorite summer spot –

and the view from it!

xoxoxox home sweet home xoxoxox

i'm so excited! it has begun – i'm am now officially being carried by rosenberry rooms!
tell all your baby-loving friends to hop on over and check it out –
they have everything a mamma could want:furniture, art, rugs,
lighting, bedding, decor, gifts, gear, diaper bags...
and now – little old me!
catch me this weekend renegade brooklyn in mccarren park!
i'll be there with some of my z-town friends {karen of skylark and kimberly of chez sucre chez} peddling my prints and new happy plackity-plaques! everything is on sale at my tent saturday and sunday and can even be ordered at the sale price if you visit my tent but don't have the cash money! hope to see you there! xoxoxoxox

check out this new logo grouping i created for amanda sharp photography!
i LOVE this little owl guy - can't wait to make more for prints...

click on the image to see a little closer –

artstar was great! even though the wind made us a little stressed at first... and my set-up wasn't what i had imagined because of it – i had a good time nonetheless. so thankful for my ztown girls! i don't think it would be something i would've done on my own and their company really made it bearable. super thanks to tent-mate kimberly scola of chez-sucre-chez who always has a calming tendency – even when she says she's freaking out. +extra thanks to her man for providing the bahama beach chair which made sitting feel like napping. and super thanks to karen stanford of skylark studio who also remains calm even when i run yellow lights and we get lost. i'll take trips with you anytime! craft show lessons learned: drinks and candy are the name of the game and always have a buddy to remind you not to be so serious. i love you guys! xoxoxoxox

my just a reminder print is really getting some love lately!
two recent "front pages" and tons of new fans from art star means i'll have to really make this one part of the solid collection. big thanks to my hubs who wanted it tattooed on his body and let me just make him a print instead...
xoxoxoxoxoxo

just a little window love –

since succulents are my favorite!

and i have such deep windows...

i thought it'd be nice,

to fill them up with some plant love!

plus things from around the house like an abandoned wasp nest,
driftwood from my parents honeymoon,
and little horns from my brother's early hunting days...
{awww that poor little deer-face. i'll cherish his horns so he lives on in my heart and home.}
happy thursday everybody! xoxoxoxoxox
so depressing... all of our ladies survived the winter only to all be eaten by the fox in the spring.
waaaahhhh such a terrible day. yes, that's right – all of them gone within 2 days!
well, time to regroup and recoup. booo looks like no more free range for the new batch –

RIP ladies!

(i really wish there was some cheesy dramatic sob music playing right now)

you will always be remembered fondly! kitsune misses you, too...
xoxoxox

now that's what i'm talking about!
i've been trying to think of what i'd like to do when trying either screen-printing or embroidery and this exemplifies it all –
graphic. old. awesomeness.
